Shelby Show Dance Hall in Shelby

The Shelby Show at Harmonie Hall

Now under new management! Fall 2010 Show Dates: September 27 - October 2, 2010. We have a show in the country... But, our vendors have more than country antiques! Harmonie Hall, in Shelby, was established as a community center in 1875. The old wooden dance hall was built with attention to architectural design and boasts high ceilings and interior arches. It has since been air conditioned and modern restrooms have been installed. To this day it is still used by the local community for dances and other events. The historic German hall is located at the intersection of FM 389 and FM 1457, about eight miles from Round Top and Warrenton. The show features about 60 dealers from across the United States. Special items include exclusive architectural design elements, as well as American, Continental and early store furniture pieces. Amazing quilts, fine linens, unique clocks, prints, silver and jewelry, collectable post cards, ironstone, paper mache, transferware, Staffordshire, and other unique antique accessories are also available. Another offering to this event are home made baked treats provided by the ladies of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, and home cooked meals are prepared daily by local members of the Harmonie Hall. Visit our outstanding dealers in the air conditioned Hall: - Quality Prints - Silver - Clocks - Estate Jewelry - Lighting - Replacement Antique Hardware - Linens & hard-to-find Christening dresses - Pattern, Elegant & Depression Glass - American Country - Continental Furniture - Architectural... Shelby is 18 miles southwest of Brenham at FM 389 & 1457, or 8 miles from either Round Top or Warrenton. Dealer spaces available inside the historic, air-conditioned dance hall.
