Cowboy Corner in Round Top

Cowboy Corner

Show Dates: September 24 - October 2, 2010. Located directly across Hwy 237 from Marburger Farm parking lot at the intersection of Florida Chapel Cemetery Road. Admission is free and parking is plentiful. Cowboy Corner is by no means what one would call a fancy show. They don't have air conditioning, no carpets on the floor, and not even any walls. Nestled under a big tent, what this group of friends do have though is the most incredible collection of old West antiques in the area. Have you ever seen a cowboy's third hand? Civil war relics? Guns well over 100 years old? How about wagons, bottles, glassware, textiles and furniture older than you? "We have quite the collection," said Linda Trish, owner of one of the six businesses that set up during this show. "This could be, in part, because collectively we are well over 500 years old!" The group has travelled the world over, collecting along the way. From rustic to ritzy, antique crystal chandliers to rusty old cowboy spurs, lace dresses and chuckwagons, the group at Cowboy Corner has it covered. They also have a great sense of humor, and love talking about their passion- all things old and Western. The show is located across the highway from the Marburger Farm North parking lot, right on Hwy 237. Stop by and meet these old hands in Western antiques and collectibles. They open early and close late.
